Addie's almost 2

www.fresephotography.com

Word's cannot describe how great Kelley is at photography. Needless to say, taking pictures of anyone turning 2 is not the easiest thing to do. Kelley has a great way of capturing Addie's true personality even when we think there are no good pictures.

We have just returned from vacation and have lots to share so check back soon for an update.

Addie's First Haircut

In anticipation of our big vacation Addie received her first haircut. Jill (our hairstylist) is amazing, when she was through we had a blond Betty Boop look alike. The thought of trying to curl Addie's hair myself is scary, at best.

Addie was very concerned with how her hair looked and wanted to approve of all pictures. Oh, what we have to look forward to.

A Day at the Zoo

It was really more like a few hours, but we survived. The weather was perfect and Addie loved most of it. Her favorite parts were the kangaroos (she spent the next several moments perfecting her jumping skills), the petting zoo and the seals (she wanted to swim with them). We tried to let her feed a giraffe but she had no part in that.

Not the best picture but the only one with all three of us in it.

A master at stairs, this is going to come in handy at her Nana's house.

The stingray exhibit was really neat!

Addie loved pointing to the animal's ears, luckily we didn't ask where their eyes were. This stage in her life is by far my favorite. Watching the world through her eyes gives me such a different perspective. The George Strait song at the end of our list is so appropriate because with Addie we do see God each and every day.

A place to start...

After much debate, I have decided to post updates for friends and family on this blog. Thank you to my amazing friend Kelley who set this up and taught me how to use it. I hope to become as proficient as my family members at this form of technology. I was inspired by Chris and Bethany (our cousins) as well as Jason and Melissa to come up with a way to keep all of you in the loop on our lives. So our journey with this begins.

Addie is getting so big. I have been known to say that time isn't flying by but when I look back at the pictures I realize it truly is. Each day brings a new word, activity or expression that usually goes uncaptured. Addie likes to see how a camera works rather than have her picture taken.
